Science Fair Success

The West Middle Science fair was a big success. It was held for students in 7th and 8th grade. There were great judges, such as the grade 6th, 7th and 8th grade science teachers, Ms. Gagnon, as well as Ms. Knight. The students had a lot of time to prepare. Planning as early as December, some students came up with interesting projects such as a Taste Test, Airplane Design, and a Cytology test. After the judges' hard decision of who would move on to the regional level, the winners were: Seamus Curtin-Osmand, Kim Feng, Kellen McAuliffe, Jack Riley, Mae Hunt, and Sammy Ruthazier. Seamus was an honorable motion in the regional fair. All of the projects were very successful, and everyone had a fun time at the science fair.
